3D Retinal Journey: Beyond the Lunar Horizon
This isn’t an Apollo or Artemis mission to a gray, sandy, cratered lunar surface.
It is a 3D visualization of a retinal surface, where the macula and the optic nerve head is remarkably spared from an inferior irido_lenticular_chorioretinal_coloboma.
This fly-through journey was captured using SS_OCT (Source-Swept OCT) on the Yalkaid device by TowardPi, featuring a wide-field 16x16mm OCT-A acquisition. The segmentation spans from the Internal Limiting Membrane (ILM) down to the Choroidal-Scleral Interface (CSI).
Yalkaid is very versatile tool for both the anterior and the posterior segments of the eye.
